Disney Christmas Magic at Changi Airport

Every year, ever since Joy turned 1, one of the places we will visit when her birthday nears is Changi Airport. The Christmas features are always up around mid to end November and she is always thrilled to run through the airport and marvel at them. After learning that this year’s theme is Disney Winter Wonderland, I showed it to Joy and she said we must go (in her own words) “now!”.

Our first stop was the Micky Mouse Clubhouse Bouncy Castle at Terminal 3, Row 11 (single entry with every $30 spend).

Bouncing castles are so full of win, they make Joy (extremely) happy, and tired afterwards. This year, there is also a 3 metre high slide which Joy and I went down three times together. It’s quite thrilling, I like.

Older kids can get themselves velcro-ed to the wall for the fun of it. Joy was too small, even for the outfit, so we skipped!

Not that it matters because she has a deep love for ball pit and this one in the bouncy castle is extremely spacious and a joy to be in.

if you’re heading down, do note the user requirements for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Bouncy Playground.

Right after getting off the bouncy castle, Joy and I raced each other to the other side of Terminal 3 (the hubs walked slowly behind – too old to race he said haha), where Neuschwanstein Castle was located. It is truly a sight to behold and the setting made us feel like we were transported to Disneyland.

We (the hubs) took many, many photos of us being deliriously happy.

I shared some photos and videos with friends who were asking about it real time. They wanted to come right away too!

I love Daisy Duck!

And these toy soldiers , so Christmassy!

These are real gingerbread, I can smell them from where I was standing.

There is even a pop up stall selling Disney themed children’s clothing. I like the grey one piece you see in the picture but pity, they didn’t come in Joy’s size.

The best part of it has got to be the Snow and Christmas light-up, happening  at specific time slots each day. I’ll show you the light up, which happens just before the snowing. It’s so magical you really got to experience it for yourself! I like it more than the snowing but Joy (and I think many people) loved the snowing most of all, it made everyone around us so excited!
